Designed by Arnold Palmer and opened in 1999, this course is known for its dramatic marshland setting and challenging layout. The routing features significant elevation changes and views of the Shallotte River. The signature par 5 fifth hole is particularly memorable with its peninsula green surrounded by marsh.
