Greens were in bad shape on the back nine.
Switched to Panthers run due to frost
Don't understand why this course gets so many bad comments
Fairways were in poor shape.
This was a great starting course for us on our first day. Not too difficult and again condition conditions were great.
Loved the place and will definitely revisit.
Second year here Greens were poor - very little grass.
Could not play due to weather
Unable to play due to snow
The greens were a little rough.
Unfamiliar with the course and played wrong club on some holes. Clubbed down on one hole expecting a creek to run across the fairway but no creek across fairway.
Greens need to be better but overall course was good.
Course was in a little better shape but still had to ride cart paths only for 9 holes when course was not wet. they may over seeded but course was not wet and morning was no different than the afternoon. Service was good on & off the course
In slightly better condition everywhere, compared to Panther's Run. However, the greens were more similar than not to Panther's Run, resulting in more frustrating putting situations.
Overall this course was in poor shape
Same as Panthers Run. Greens were slightly better
Good Cond although below the standard when played in the past
greens in poor condition
course not being taken care of.
Doing construction. Not in the best shape. Greens rough.
Probably the worst greens (browns?) I have ever played. Some were hairy. Some were baked brown and shaved close. Some had bare sandy areas
greens were in poor condition
Terrible greens and fairways
Greens were very bumpy so no way to make consistent putts.
Greens were inconsistent. Very slow! Best grill of all the courses.
Greens terrible and fairways had dead spots. We should have been compensated for the course conditions….
Bad greens & fairways
Course completely dried out including greens. No watering of the course. Will never return. Fairways were like cow pastures.
One of the worst courses I have played in Myrtle Beach, ever. I was so disappointed with the tee boxes, the fairways and the greens. The greens were punched weeks before, the tee boxes were horrible and the fairways atrocious. How can you hit middle fairway yet be in a space where there is NO grass. We had folks on this trip all the way from California and this is what we represented. Just the absolute worse.
Course not in good shape
Greens were bad and course not in good sshape.
Punched greens a week before we played. The staff was friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back
Green were aerated and the fairway looked like it had not be watered in months
The course is in terrible condition. Aerated greens and course is not being managed well. Definitely disappointed for spending my money to play this course.. If I could rate zero I would.
DRY, fairways and tee boxes were mostly dirt.
Greens and fairways in bad condition
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens burnt. Greens areated. Fairwyas had many bare spots and burnt.
Fairways abd greens were not in good shape at all.
The greens were aerated and made play a bit challenging. Several hot spots on the fairway.
Course was okay. Fairways and greens needed. Notification of aerated greens would've helped as well.
The course was in okay shape the greens was aerated. the layout was nice, the fairways we're not in great shape either.
fairways were hard as conrete
Staff great, course not
Horrible courses. These courses should be removed from your list of availability. The cart girl was smoking
Did not get to play flight canceled
didn't play as flight was cancelled
Good course. Great staff. Enjoyed our round
More sand than I remember. Had to dump the sand out of my shoes after the round.
Worst conditions we played. I would not go back!
As indicated in an earleier email the greens were terrible with quarter / half dollar size weeds everywhere on the greens
Golf course was in really rough shape was not the best experience. Will not play it again
Challenging and fun course.
Course was in great condition & fun to play.
This was one of my favorites
Nice course to play but like the other 3 courses greens were in below average shape
The course conditions at Lions Paw left a lot to be desired. The cart paths were pretty much in disrepair throughout the course. The tees and fairways were decent but not great. The greens had bare spots and a lot of Poa clumps in them. We played a warmup round at Brunswick the day before, and it was in fantastic condition. So we were very disappointed that our more "premier" package course was so much worse than the less expensive Brunswick.
Great course. Recommend any of the big cats
Nice layout avg conditions
Lions Paw was in great shape.
Beautiful course, very challenging, and nice greens!
best course of the four.
Best of the four courses. The only course that I would consider worth the money we paid to play. Good course.
Greens were bad as well as cart paths in need of serious repair
Great maintained course
I know they had a tornado go thru a few months ago, but, the course was horrible
Course still recovering from tornado. Turf needs work.
The course was in very bad condition.
Course is in terrible shape
Very dried out fairways needed more manual watering.?
Very poor condition. Needs water and fertilizer.
Course was grate, But the ranger was disrespectful I work at a golf course. No reason for him to be like that I would not go back if I know he would be there
Average layout. Average condition. Nothing special
Course was in poor shape
Disappointed in the greens, slower than the other times I played the course.
Nice course, it was too bad the tornado damaged it.
It's a great layout. Course was little rough due to a tornado that hit a month before. Probably should have switched courses or been advised too.
Greens were pretty beat up as well as a lot of debris but there was a tornado there are just three weeks ago. All things considering, it was a good experience
This was a very good course that our group enjoyed. It had some challenging holes and some average holes. Course was in great shape. A very good course for all golfers.
Needs work... we are considering changes venues in the state
course in really bad shape
Very wet and not from rain, balls constantly plugged in fairways, rough, and around greens. The greens were in bad condition and slow. Lost more golf balls in play than we did by hitting errant shots
I've played this course before but is was in bad shape
This was also a better course than the first three.
Greens were good, rough was bad and traps were bad.
People in pro shop were great but course was shot.
Fairways and rough in terrible condition.
Rough needs cutting.
Very challenging course.
Seems like the greens were recently re-punched. They were slow and fuzzy.
The greens were slow and not entirely green.. staff was friendly.
Overly wet, didn't drain well.
Full of weeds on the roughs and greens were slow with weeds
Long and narrow. It was playing tough. With the exception of #2, the greens were in decent shape.
Greens were terrible and the course as a whole was in need of maintenance
I know there was lots of rain before and during our visit that may have effected course maintenance, but this was the worst course we played. Tee boxes and fairways not as nice as other courses. Greens were even worse with multiple bare batches that caused the ball to not run true. Group even contemplated just using a two putt rule once on the green they were so bad. Two years in a row these "premium" courses have been in the worst condition of all the courses we played. Very disappointing.
The worst out of all. Challenging but every par 3 180+ is kinda stupid along with the greens being the worst and not receptive at all. Putt and pray is not how it should be. Probably never play this one again
Things got better with this course. Bunkers still had deep grooves from run off. But this course didn't have near the sand as Panthers Run. Greens were in good shape and had been mowed recently. Tee boxes were good. Probably the best condition course of the 4 we played.
Greens were terrible. Tee boxes were soaking wet.
Course was in poor condition
Greens a little rough
Greens, fairways, and bunkers in bad shape
We loved this course
