Course was on great shape and staff and restaurant was very nice and food was great!

Always a great course to play. Staff is friendly course was in great shape. Some of the best views in the area. And the food in the clubhouse is excellent as is the staff.

Haven’t played here in years. Other than very strong winds, I was pleasantly surprised with the changes.

Liked the layout, some challenging holes and some strategy for staying out of trouble.

Beautiful The 13 and 17 hole was a eye opener what a challenge with the wind blowing hard over the marsh

My favorite course of the trip, amazing! Man at pro shop (don't recall his name) wouldn't allow us to reserve a replay tee time without paying. Our concern was weather and not wanting a rain check. We assured him we would replay as long as it wasn't storming but he wouldn't accommodate us. Stated, "I could sell that spot". It worked out, no storm. I've never encountered this before.

Great course. Hadn’t played it in years. Greens were in great shape in spite of being in their slow season. Would definitely play again.

Loved the layout! Loved the condition! Loved the pace of play! Played 36 holes on a Saturday. Play both 18s in less than 4 hours. Loved the beauty of the holes on the marsh.

Nice trek but fell short of our expectations and the heavy winds made the two signature holes gimmicky.

Beautiful, clanging course. Split tee start here as well, but good communication from the starter about pace of play.

Very disappointed with the condition of the course. This is one of our favorite courses in the Myrtle area, but the fairways, rough and greens were spotty and left a lot to be desired. Ranked last of the 5 courses we played.

Course renovation was a huge success!! Clubhouse and staff are very helpful.

We had a very pleasant experience at PP. We warmed up with unlimited use of the range prior to golf. The starter was very accommodating. The design is memorable and the course conditions, including the greens, were very good. PP is a long drive from central MB, but we will return to play again.

Beautiful course and clubhouse. It’s true about the new greens being rock hard, which made scoring tough.

OK but the PAR 3's were to difficult over the marsh with the greens being fast. Not realistic to hold the green for the weekend golfer.

Need to soften the greens. I know they are new, but too hard and difficult to hold an approach shot.

course was not very good, and even the fairways were brown with not much grass. Food was good thou

First nine was solid, but wow does it turn it on for the back nine. Marsh views are incredible. Expect to put at least a ball in the marsh on the two par 3s. Pray there isn't any wind as they are hard enough on their own. Restaurant had some of the best food we ate on our entire trip.

The course is still maturing from renovations. The play was very slow.

would have been nice to know some of the course would have been torn up and that they were closing for the season on Monday 5/22

Pawley's was not in great shape. It is being closed in October for renovations

Great layout and some very memorable holes. Would have given it a 5, but the fairways needed grass at some spots.

#1 poor rating. Course in horrible condition; black sand with gravel; too much dirt. Totally bad experience!

Course was in decent shape and a good challenge. Bring insect repellant as the biting gnats are rampant here.

Also told that greens were recently punched but small tines allowed for quicker healing.

Bad shape and too tricked up. Some of the holes needed a windmill and a clown mouth...

What is not to like, everything great.

Course in good shape, both fairways and greens. Staff very helpful. Two of our foursome had to leave for a family medical emergency, and we were paired with two extremely slow players. We quit at 9. But, we will play again on some future trip, because we all like the course. The Tradition pub is nice, and the staff there is friendly and helpful.

Of all the courses my group played on our trip (Caledonia and Tidewater) Pawleys was the best. Great greens and great scenery.

Golf Shop and Restaurant staff were great. Only issue was we were held up a bit by the outside staff while trying to get on the tee and beat the sun

Best Course of the five

One of my all time favorites. Was in good shape.

We liked the course but there are better ones in that area. We did a re-play at their sister course, Willbrook Plantation, and it is was as nice as any course we've played. Will definitely put in on next yer's list.

Course was a little tough for our 14-20 handicappers. But the layout was great and the people were awesome

Being a Nicklaus signature design I had high expectations along the same lines as Caledonia. Was disappointed. Thought the course to be average with course tucked into all of houses/condos.

Good shape, not a fan of the layout or the large number of houses throughout the course - for a 1 1/2 drive, Caledonia is far superior

Jack's design was tough!

Scorched fairways, many damaged greens and a 45 yard temporary green. Very Poor Condition, nice course layout

Grass was dead, greens barren. The place was in rough shape.

Dry - lack of rain but also problems with sprinkler system. Several greens with bare patches

Probably my favorite course on the Myrtle Beach courses. Have to include this one if playing on South end

The front nine is a disaster, really if I’m paying top dollar for my vacation. I don’t want to see dirt . The back nine makes up for everything. The signature holes is nice.

Had three or four greens with no grass on them

Four stars for the layout, which was both attractive and difficult. Condition-wise, only two stars as a number of the greens were burned out or dying and it seemed like there was a lot top-dressing. Service at grille room was slow and disorganized, plus their computer wasn’t working properly so some lunch orders never made it to the kitchen even though they were paid for. So, overall a three-star rating.

A number of the greens were in bad shape, but other than that it was a very pleasant round of golf. Staff was very accommodating.

Very disappointed it’s the condition of Pawley’s Plantation.

Wonderful challenging course. We were pushed by 4 Woman members who each had their own cart. Ranger was apparently frustrated by this. They ended up only playing 9. Will be back.... par’’d 13...

Pauley's is always a favorite. The course was in great condition. Challenging and fun. Carts could use GPS range finders.

Greens were uncut. Tee box uncut. We were told the greens were just uncut Sunday. That was a cover up. Worse greens we ever played on.

First time I played it in 30 years. Really enjoyed the course.

Maintenance not up to the expectations for this course. That said, had a fun day. Holes along the marsh never disappoint. With it being as hot as it was, need to figure out better hydration options other than the two rest stations in the middle of each 9.

Bunkers were terrible and no sand in them

Disappointing. So much hype around this course before we got there. Fairways and greens were in sporadic bad shape. Not at all what we were expecting.
