Old-school, under-the-oaks lowcountry-style course with a laid back feel and space from people but slow greens

My wife had her best ever round!! The course was great.

Course was in great condition. Very crowded the day of play but well managed by the staff.

Club House and Driving Range are in need of repair and updating, Golf course was in Very good Shape, with the exception of the 3 holes where they are replacing the greens

Couple of bad greens

A few greens weren’t in good shape. Overall wasn’t bad, but not as good as others in the area. Fun track, short with lots of dog legs. Rewards strategic golf.

Only played 9 holes. Rained out.

Another plantation turned golf course. Dog leg city. Fairways and greens were excellent. Felt more like a very nice course for locals, and leagues, etc.

Enjoyed the track. Challenging layout.m tees in rough shape, but fairways and greens excellent. Best bunkers of the week.

Great place. Condo was a 10 minute walk to the beach which is what we wanted. Litchfield CC was a nice track to play.

I seem to like this course and play well there. Like Murrel's Inlet area.

Loved it, played terrible, but the course was in great condition and everyone in the group enjoyed their experience

The staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly!

Several of the greens had bad patches, with the worst being #7, which had way more bare spots than grass.

Staff was wonderful but condition of course was below average.

Usually in good shape but not this year, two greens completely dead. Nice folks though.

They had 3 greens that were in bad shape which they did not mention to us at the start, otherwise the course was in good condition.

The pro shop and facilities are just average but the course itself and the customer service was great! Would definitely play this course again.

Course is obviously not being maintained. Simialr issues with the breakfast area and surrounding amenities. Looks like a Motel 6 resort. Defintely never refering anyone to stay their. Breakfast buffett has gone downhill over the past 10 years. Staff was nice.

Typical inland SC course, basic, solid condition, really slow play. Ladies in the snack shack were wonderful.

Greens, fairways and Tee boxes were in rough shape

4 was the second time I played this course. It was wet from the rain but we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves

Nice course. Tough target golf layout and overall amenities could use an upgrade. Good conditions in general and greens were solid.

Driving 70 minutes does not make any sense for an inland course, food was crap.

Driving 70 mins for this course was just stupid, there are 20 + courses within 20 mins in that area.

If I could give this a 3.5 I would. There's nothing wrong with the course, it just didn't stand out in my eyes. Greens were quick and true so no problem there. I may have been expecting more since it's in Pawleys Island. I've heard all the course there are great. Would I play it again, of course. Are there better courses in MB, yes. Don't let this review steer you away from playing it. It's still a good track.

A fine course. Not in the same condition as others we played. Very small greens.

It was nice to see the traditional architecture. The people were very welcoming g. But, the course was not on the same level as the other 4 we played.

Was not well groomed. Was not well staffed. It looked like it was closed. The drop area is not around the entrance.

Nice. Again, the course was cart path only. Why was I not told about this. This has been going for weeks.

Felt cramped, too many short, dogleg holes. Lots of 3irons off the tees

would not play again. Trees in middle of fairway or block the green on some holes, as you can be penalized for great drives or hitting back into fairway for safe shot to green.

The pits,not very good. Waterin traps not good

This was a phenomenal course and would play this again and again.

Good lay out of holes a little too much water on the fairways overall would play again with no hesitation
