Arnold Palmer and company are responsible for the excellent redesign of King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, and people are still thanking them to this day (redesign took place in 1996). The course has a long history, and renovation was needed in order to maintain the commitment to beauty and playability, and they succeeded.
The course is known to be particularly playable for all skill levels and is especially friendly toward women golfers, receiving accolades to back this up. That in no way means that it’s not going to be challenging for everyone; far from it. It has individual holes that have received local fame due to their scenery and challenge, so there is no autopilot when playing a round here!
The facility offers a lounge and restaurant for you and your crew to relax, brag, and make excuses while eating and drinking and enjoying the camaraderie.
