Myrtlewood Golf Club - PineHills Course

4 of 5 rating. Good layout and staff. Lies a little thin, but they've been in a drought. Great afternoon pace. We'll be back.

Solid first day warm up course as we had hoped. Staff was excellent.

After the heavy rains over the weekend the course was in surprisingly good shape

First time, have to say staff was great. However, fix them dang Greens man! Overall great course and we will absolutely play again. On the touch em all tour first.

The overall course and layout was good. It is a challenging course. I know last month is the typical green aeriation timeframe for many golf courses. We were told that the greens were still healing and a little bumpy and that if we weren’t satisfied after two holes, we could get a rain check. The greens were very bumpy, but had huge bare spots on 90% of them. The greens were in really bad condition which cost extra putts. Without knowing the next time i would be back in the Myrtle Beach area. I preferred to play the golf then take the rain check but the greens were disappointing.

Really nice course, shorter than Palmetto which was great. We would definitely play both courses again.

Great course, would love to play it again on our next trip but play is too slow! Too many tee times with too little spacing. A course like this shouldnt take over 5 hours!

Excellent condition. Enjoyable layout. However, our group's tee times were split - divided by two foursomes. Complained to management - refused to adjust. Used nonsensical argument that it would disrupt the operation. Ridiculous.

Course conditions were great - tees, fairways and greens. We did find several greens where players did not fix their divot and a few bunkers that were not raked - not a course problem but a lack of player responsibility. We were a twosome that followed a threesome that were several holes ahead. We caught up with them by the 9th and they maintained a good speed. We took a little more time, so we never really waited for them. We finished in under 4 hours. The course could use a few more directional signs at greens pointing the way towards the next tee, notably going from 2nd green to 3rd tee.

Challenging, but playable. Lots of dog legs. There were no diagrams of the hole layout on the score card or tee blocks. Nice clubhouse .

The staff was very friendly, the course was in very good condition. Nice pro shop and clubhouse. Pace of play was reasonable at 4 hours and 10 minutes.

Prefer this one over the palmetto.

In the best shape...........actual white sand in traps and quicker greens.

This course was not as forgiving as Palmetto. We liked it but it got tough for us. But, honestly, it was probably bc we played 18 holes for three days straight, which we never do, so that had something to do with it. We were just gassed at the end. Definitely a decent course for us.

WE have played at Pine Hills before and that's why it was on our list for this year. Lovely and well maintained course. The holes were long but beautiful.

Another good course played before. We had wonderful weather the entire trip.

Prettiest sand trap I've seen in a long time, the sand was so white.

Don't like layout ok for Long hitters, but even from gold tees not fun with water and bunker locations for shorter hitters

Challenging with good conditions, greens were true and fast, unfortunately full on bunker refresh is happening so we had to leave balls in the traps for liability reasons, drop beside and play on

Always enjoy playing at MyrtleWood. The fairways were a little thin but overall in good shape.

Accommodations starting to get a little dated. Some updates will need to be done eventually.

Loved the layout. The bunkers were in really poor shape. But the greens in fairways were excellent.

I was unable to play due to injury but heard from the others the course was great.

This was very different from the Palmetto Course but just as much fun. The people at this whole complex are wonderful to work with.

you picked great courses but i think the favorite with the group was between Myrtle Beach National North Course and Wild Wings

This was our second round of the day which we got off almost an hour after our tee time because of a shortage of carts. Course was in great shape though.

The course was very wet and the bunkers were full of water! Quite understandable as there was a huge amount of rain the day before!! We still enjoyed our round. The staff were great and accommodating when we changed times and days due to the weather.

Green were a little rougher than when we have played in the past.

Course layout and greens were nice but the rough was so thick that my group lost a lot of golf balls. We are not PGA players so that could have been better. Also good options with package was very limited.

Myrtlewood is a solid choice! Got a replay on Palmetto. Both courses were in great shape. Crowded, but pace was not a problem.

This course was in bad shape from all the rain. Lots of standing water in sand traps, wouldn't play this again. Carts were in awful shape
