It was a good opening day course for us but not as nice a course as we were used to in Pawleys Island
Courses not in as good as condition as others
Another great track. Very nice conditions. Hope to play it again soon
Jones was also in great shape. We needed to change our tee time and Rob was able to make that happen. Again, the starters, cart staff, prosbop and cart girls were all great!
Sand traps need sand and inconsistent
The Jones course was in terrible shape. The greens were in worse shape than most of the area courses. They need to get the cart paths installed on Maples. Way too much sand, and the sand areas were not well defined.
A lot better conditions and nice layout so much better than Byrd course!
Decent track a lot better conditions than Byrd
All three courses were great. Each has a little different character but enjoyable tracts.
We liked this course too. We were told this course was to be redone. If that is true I’m sure it will be a great course. Both courses were different and we enjoyed playing both of them.
Hope they get the greens better
Nice layout. Greens were in bad shape
Course was fine but it was COLD and breezy the morning we played
The best of the three great layout great course conditions this is five plus
This also was a great course probably the best of three great challenge highly recommend.
Could use a little work
Course was in good shape. Good staff
I liked the layout even thou it was wet
Course was very wet when we played it due to weather
We enjoyed the course very much!
The greens were in bad shape.
Fairways were okay. Greens were terrible.
Greens were rough in great need of re vamp
some greens were in terrible shape had to move our ball to have a fair putt on some holes because they were in such bad shape
greens are scheduled to be replaced in '26 apparently, that will help.
Greens were dead and spotty. We should get a partial refund on that round… one of the worse greens we’ve played in 25 years coming to Myrtle! Do not send anyone else there!!
Some greens were not in their best shape when we played but was as beautiful course.
Greens were not great. The speed was idle but the conditioning on the greens were not as good as the others. Too much poa and bald spots.
Looking forward to playing this course again, layout and conditions are very good.
Jones was awesome too. Greens need a little work, but overall great!!!
Jones course better than Byrd. Enjoyed the Jones course experience. The guy loading us on the carts was a little rude.
greens were terrible
Greens weren’t in very good shape.
4+ Greens were nice, slightly bumpy from poanna. Cart trails needed a little work. Always one of our favorites.
Love the layout. Greens were terrible.
Greens in terrible condition
Good course. Recommend they at 150 yard posts/markers visible from the tee
greens in terrible shape, no grass.
Nice layout, greens nice, rolling at 8, only issue is for a Golf resprt and not having a range is big miss, too bad that we weren’t able to warm up before
Did enjoy this course. They were still doing renovation to the clubhouse so had to check in at the conference centre. Assuming the proshop has a patio for after golf beer I'd go back. Course condition were ok and staff were very friendly.
Did not play this course
did not play this one
Greens in bad shape.
Greens were atrocious
Very poor greens. Condition, of course was subpar. Disappointed to have members of our group drive all the way from Maryland to play on a dirt filled course and disease riddled green.
The accommodations were good but course not in good condition at all. Almost all of the green were lost
Very poor condition. Greens were bad with a lot of them not having any grass.
A little rough around the edges. New owners and expansion of housing in the area made the experience a 3
Overall course was in good condition; however, most of the greens were struggling.
Greens were in bad shape fairways nice
the course was decent but the greens were really bad.. it was a very hit day and we saw the cart girl one time on hole 4 during the whole round of gold.
You can tell it’s a work in progress but they are doing a great job getting it right.
We are looking forward to the completion so it can match the likes of the Legend.
Very friendly staff. Cameron was very accommodating. Very course conditions.
Greens bad and very slow
Nice and fun toi play
Shaggy conditions can’t put work into it fast enough, have to play the ball up everywhere
Cart Pathways in poor condition.
greens were in poor condition, with long grass and slow runouts
Breakfast worker questioning our right to eat at the buffet--wanted proof of golf package purchase.
Was in terrible shape, not a good outing
Great course. A little disorganized due to all the construction going on.
Lots of work going on ( good to see they are making improvements)
The Group was a bit disappointed with Course conditions. The Breakfast was ok.
Course conditions a bit rough, shaggy greens, sparse fairways, play around and through ongoing construction, signage could be better
Basically under construction
Course was not in very good condition, fairways were unkept and the greens were not much better.
best course out there! well maintained even with all the construction going on. cart paths could use some work
We got rained out this morning but did see the course and layout it looked good would of been nice to play it maybe next year.
Ok, but greens were slow. Construction around the course & clubhouse distracted from this course. Will be nice when completed.
very nice day at the course .
Green in horrible shae
Very windy day so course played differently. Tad chilly ( low 60s) but sunny. Would definitely play again.
We played Jones a second time two days after the first time. The cups had NOT BEEN CHANGED! That is unacceptable.
Nice course and very nice resort overall. People were great.
Course was great, no driving range was odd.
Construction area was very rough to drive on in golf cart.
Needs better signage about course layout during construction.
Best of the 4 courses
Best course of the three. Loved driving through a full construction zobe to get their.
All the construction around course lowered rating.
Liked the Layout. But a lot of New Construction and Activity on the Back Nine. At times, wasn't sure how to get to the next hole. Not very well marked
Plenty of mounds in fairways and around greens make approach shots different every time!
very nice course good people good staff working.
played here 20 years ago when it was in it's hey day. now just an ok course. i realize new owners have taken over and making major renovations which make the Jones course like a construction zone on a few holes. hopefully they can restore golf course to its prime once all constructions is done. only $50 for January but given current conditions would not play here for much more even in prime season
The condition of the greens was not good. Too many bare spots or rough spots.
course not in good shape. Course was sold to a construction company so it wasn't properly maintaineda
Very good course. Enjoyable round.
Greens slow and ruff
Worst playing condition of the four courses. Staff was snippy at end of round.
Maybe a letdown after the last two but tee boxes and greens appeared neglected.
greens were a little rough
Fairways were mowed a bit narrow. Greens rolled well. Cart paths were a bit rough, lots of broken pavement ruts to be careful not hitting while driving.
Same as above. If the group decide to go back there I would not go.
The course has really gone downhill over the years.
Some what better than the other two, but not really what we expected to find there.
Excellent course. Well groomed and maintained
Not well mantained and staff was saying the courses were close to being sold and no one cared.
Much better than Bryd. "19th hole" and clubhouse was closed when we finished. Would have been nice to know that. Staff was pleasant.
Much better than it's sister Byrd course but only satisfactory. Our group will avoid Sea Trail courses in our future trips
Excellent layout, fun course to play, good condition.
layout was more appealing than the Byrd course
Best course of the trip
nice course. fairways dry
Course was in great shape and a lot of fun to play!
Not too bad needs a more accommodating beverage cart schedule didn't see one for the first 14 holes.
Great course! Was in very good shape! The staff were amazing!
Good course. Over-crowded.
Nice course but too many people on the course. Had to wait on carts as they said they had over 400 tee times that day.
nice course, a little long for a average players
Course was ok compared to other courses in our package
coarse was in Great shape and people there are Great.
Greens in terrible shape
Enjoyed the layout. Nice greens.
Excellent, challenging course, great shape for this time of year. Greens were true and fast.
really nice layout, greens rolled well. needs more sand in traps, they were mostly hardpan.
Great layout and reasonable condition for March break. Scenery is amazing.
Absolutely beautiful course and the scenery was just as good.
Great layout. Nice greens. Our entire group enjoyed this course, very playable for all skill levels. Course staff very pleasant
Always a good one to play in MB area.
course was in ok condition, this course also has the green reseeded
Nice layout, Unfortunately, terrible greens.
Another beautiful course.
Lay out was good - not too challenging for the average golfer. Having said that, the course was disappointing as the tee boxes and greens were some of the worst our group has plated. Again would return if improvements are made. Friendly and helpful staff.
A bit too long for us
Greens and Fairways were extremely patchy.
Course was pretty good but looks like the resort has seen better days. I’d play it again however.
Greens were terribly slow.
Best of the sea trails package by far.
Best course of sea trails. From what I saw and talking to locals, this is the only course they are still putting money into.
Best course at Sea Trail
Same as above comments.
Nicest course at Sea Trail
greens in rough shape
course got better, conditions-wise, but still could use some more work.
Nice course. In good condition.
Course was better than Byrd course and greens slightly better
much better condition than Byrd
Greens need attention.
Had to play same 18 twice
Fairways were good; however, greens needed work. I'm disappointed that carts couldn't be taken to the driving range.
Much better condition than the Byrd Course, greens were nicer including the fairways
being the first game of 2022 we enjoyed the course however the greens were poor , spotty with little grass
enjoyable, conditions were good, greens were good. Was disappointed with the Byrd course the day before, so did not expect much from the Jones course. Jones is in much better shape,
Greens were in bad shape
Best overall conditions. Still no real service on course.
Same as the the Jones even worse we would not play it again
Couldn’t tell if the greens were recently aerated or they were just rough.
We had a good time, but found things a bit hurried and confusing. The group behind us, a family of 6 or seven had a foursome placed in between their two halves. Pase was slightly pushed. Because of the pase we didn't rest stop at the turn and my wife was extremely uncomfortable by the time we got to the rest room after leaving the 15th green! I will add for Clarification that both my wife are experienced golfers.
Greens were sparse almost impossible to hold a line.
