The Long Bay Club in Longs, South Carolina is known for being challenging, bar none. It’s one of those courses where many feel that Jack Nicklaus was on his game when he designed it. People say it contains some of the biggest challenges in all of the Grand Stand. Going up against the mounds in particular are thought to be quite an experience.
Bunkers are another foe while braving this ingenious course. While bunkers are never really where you want them, that is an understatement in this case. So much fun is to be had, without ever really taking a golfer over the edge and breaking him/her!
So bring your best game, and when it’s all said and done, grab a seat and a drink in the restaurant and blame the course.
