Blackmoor Golf Club brings a distinctive South Strand flavor to the Myrtle Beach golf lineup. Built on the historic Longwood Plantation near the Waccamaw River, the course uses natural movement, tree lines, water, and doglegs to create a round that feels relaxed until the angles start asking better questions.
Designed by Gary Player and opened in 1990, Blackmoor plays as a par 72 and reaches 6,614 yards from the championship tees. It is not a brute-force course. It is a placement course, where the best players are often the ones who understand which side of the fairway matters.
